Challenge: Maritime logistics suffers from fragmented communication and inefficient resource allocation. Awake aimed to create a unified platform to connect cargo operators, port authorities, and ship operators, optimizing operations and reducing delays.
Solution: As a senior UX designer, I participated in the research, planning, and architecture for the Awake web and mobile applications. Through extensive stakeholder interviews and field studies, we gained deep insights into users’ workflows and pain points. We facilitated continuous cross-functional collaboration, ensuring alignment between design, development, and business goals. I created tens of user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes in Figma, and maintained a comprehensive design system that improved consistency and developer handoff.

- Led UX/UI design for the Resource Manager, Resource Scheduler, and User Management applications.
- Designed the Resource Manager app, enabling efficient management of heavy machinery.
- Created the Resource Scheduler app, optimizing port shift planning and resource allocation, and integrated it with the Berth Planner.
- Developed and maintained a comprehensive design system in Figma.
